Katie has been a life-coach and keynote speaker for 20 years. She has taught creative workshops for over 30 years in the corporate sector as well as holistic retreat centers including The Omega Institute and The Kripalu Center where she received her yoga teacher certification. She is the owner of Camp Equinox, a theatre day camp in Montana that serves 300 families every summer and where she has taught and trained staff in leading creative workshops since 1996.
Katie is a comedian, actress, director, singer, children’s book author, self-help author, playwright and comedy songwriter with over 2,000,000 views of her work online and has toured for over 20 years with her show "Broad Comedy" that has raised over $2million for Planned Parenthood and other non-profits.
Katie has over 35 years in professional theatre (including directing her own theatre with her husband, playwright Soren Kisiel) where she directed and acted in over 120 plays.
Katie is also a certified Interior Designer, an abstract expressionist painter, and a glass-fusing artist. She has studied ceramics, dance, music, film, mixology, cooking, and is a professional writer in both fiction and non-fiction. Her interest and experience in this wide variety of arts has led her to deeply love and understand life-coaching through the arts. This is her obsession and the culmination of her life’s work: helping other creative coaches bring creative workshops into the world to inspire others to be more creative and confident.
On the life-coaching-experience side, Katie has studied or worked with 3 major spiritual leaders including Thich Nhat Hahn, Cheri Huber and Martha Beck, and is a practicing Buddhist within the O.I. community of Thich Nhat Hahn. Her Kripalu yoga training also informs her values and strengths as a life-coach and teacher.

2 1-hour private personal life coaching and entrepreneurial training sessions over the 3 months from Katie, just for you alone to hone your skills and business strategy.

Katie is only taking on a small group of very dedicated students right now and we want to make sure this is right for you and that you are right for it. Katie will look at your application and have a talk with you on the phone before acceptance into the program.
PRICE
$6,000 including 8 group webinars, 2 private coaching calls, an “Improv For Life” retreat with Katie, and a live 3-day Coaches Training at Chico Hot Springs in Montana and a 100+ page manual of materials.
REQUIREMENTS
A deep knowledge in the specific art you want to build your workshop around and an excitement to teach others!
An enthusiastic interest in life coaching and personal discovery. You do not need a background in coaching at all. That’s what Katie’s here for!
Questions?
Will I make money as a certified Creativity Life Coach? That’s the idea! And that’s why we will focus on business but also Katie will coach you as an entrepreneur.
Do I have to become a life coach? Nope! You can also be the kind of retreat leader that just lets the creativity work be enough. A fun retreat without the life coaching is also something people love.
Do I have to be great at improvisation? Nope! You can incorporate improv games into your workshop if you want to, but you don’t have to! We teach improvisation tools to improve creativity during your training, but you don’t have to bring them into your personal workshop unless it works for you!
Do I have to teach only women? Nope! Katie teaches co-ed workshops, too.
Will this be fun or hard? Both hopefully! But we’d rather use the word “challenging” or “exciting” than hard. But starting a new business is both exciting and also some work of course. Katie will help you stay on track and bust through any blocks you have. If it’s something you are excited to do, then this will enrich your life for sure!
